The Soul of America Project engages the United States and the world in an ongoing dialogue about the values of democracy in civil society. We promote democratic values such as self-reliance, tolerance, integrity and civic responsibility. The Project empowers the voices of humanity and involves all in the process of self-assessment and self-improvement. As a world leader of Democracy, the United States takes responsibility to know its true self and to present itself to the world with integrity and compassion.

The Soul of America Project will build a National Monument and Educational Center on the San Francisco Bay that will give voice to the values of democracy. This major artwork and Center for Democratic Values will serve as beacon to the country and the world, revealing the values and principles of democracy true to our beginnings and enlighten our path into the future.
