Heidorn Park is a 3.2 acre neighborhood park, located at the heart of the Meadow Creek Villages community in Antioch, California. The park was designed to accommodate a number of uses. Nine table and barbecue clusters provide picnic sites. A large childrens’ area includes two play structures, two sand areas, and a colorful safety surface. The expansive lawn area has been graded and sized to accommodate a wide range of active field sports. Joggers and bicyclists pass through the park on the multi-use path, which is part of the larger East Bay Municipal Utility District Trail Corridor. The ornamental planting at Heidorn Park was designed to be water-efficient, ultimately providing ample shade for the summer months, and present a lush backdrop year-round.
