This seven-acre accessible open space is integral to a Concord neighborhood of over 300 lots in the foothills of Mt. Diablo. The program calls for tandem tennis courts, one stadium tennis court, a community swim team competition pool, tot-lot, on-site parking and clubhouse building with offices, kitchen and recreation room. The site is sloping to the northeast with a grade drop of 115 feet, and has been graded into three major terraces. The clubhouse and pool are located on the upper terrace, the tennis courts and tot-lot on the middle terrace and 1.5 acres of open casual play fields on the lower terrace. Native vegetation was planted on the slopes between terraces.
