MD FOTHERINGHAM, Landscape Architects, works with a team of established professionals in a variety of disciplines including architects, engineers, environmental scientists, artists, and horticulturists. Our design process integrates physical form, social patterns, and natural systems, resulting in meaningful and vigorous landscapes that demonstrate environmental fit. Our professional products include master plans, planning and design guidelines, site feasibility studies, and the full range of design and construction documents. We are available to provide construction observation services to ensure design intent in the finished project.
Michael Fotheringham, ASLA, received a Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from Utah State University in 1978, and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Brigham Young University in 1974. He has practiced as a landscape architect in Canada and the United States over the last 40 years, and offers extensive experience in providing design services and products for a diversity of projects and clients. Northern California has been his focus for the last 37 years, completing residential, recreational and commercial projects throughout the region. MD Fotheringham, Landscape Architects, Inc., was established in 1992, and holds registration to practice landscape architecture in California (#2481). Michael plans to retire during 2022.
